The Thirsty Crow
దాహం వేసిన కాకి
One hot summer day, a కాకి (crow) flew all around looking for water. She was very thirsty and could not find a single drop to drink.
At last, she saw a కుండ (pot) sitting under a tree. She flew down happily, but when she looked inside, the water was only at the very bottom. Her beak could not reach it.
The clever crow looked around and saw small రాళ్ళు (stones) near the pot. She picked up one stone at a time and dropped it into the pot.
Slowly, plop by plop, the water rose higher and higher — until at last it reached the top. The crow took a long, happy drink of water and flew away, refreshed.
Moral of the story
Where there is a will, there is a way — never give up, even when things seem hard.
