About Chakkati Telugu
చక్కటి తెలుగు గురించి
Chakkati Telugu (చక్కటి తెలుగు, “beautiful Telugu”) started as one parent's attempt to teach a Telugu-speaking child growing up outside of India — and grew into a free home for any family that wants their kids to know the language.
The site walks kids from the alphabet (achulu and hallulu) through words, sentences, padyalu, samethalu and stories, with real human audio for every piece so children learn how Telugu actually sounds, not just how it's spelled.
Chiluka, the parrot mascot who appears throughout the site, is a familiar companion for kids as they work through each stage — a small, friendly reminder that learning Telugu can be joyful.
