The Hare and the Tortoise

A speedy కుందేలు (hare) always boasted about how fast she could run. One day, a slow తాబేలు (tortoise) said, "Let's have a race and see."

Everyone gathered to watch. As soon as the race began, the hare zoomed far ahead, while the tortoise walked steadily, one small step at a time.

Sure that she was winning by a mile, the hare decided to rest under a shady tree. "I have plenty of time for a nap," she thought, and soon fell fast asleep.

The tortoise kept walking, slow and steady, without stopping. By the time the hare woke up, the tortoise had already crossed the finish line and won the race!
